Specifically, three factors are investigated based on the technology, organisation, and environment (TOE) framework: information technology (IT) capability, top management support, and government support. Using a questionnaire survey of 127 respondents from publicly listed manufacturing companies in Malaysia, this study shows that top management support and government support significantly affect AI adoption in publicly listed manufacturing companies. However, the results show that IT capability does not significantly influence the AI adoption of publicly listed manufacturing companies. Thus, the findings provide evidence of the influence of IT capability, top management support, and government support on AI adoption in publicly listed manufacturing companies. In addition, the findings of this study contribute to the existing literature on AI adoption in publicly listed manufacturing companies in Malaysia.</p> ER -
